Hi friend,
We’re trying something a little different this week.
People often assume that being truly at peace requires intense focus and commitment. You basically have to be a monk.
But creating more space and grace doesn’t necessarily require isolation and hours of meditation on a mountaintop.
It’s all about intention and purposefully weaving these vibes into our days moment by moment.
That’s what we will play with this week.
The meditation isn’t a seated practice. It’s for finding more spaciousness and ease while you’re out and about.
The somatic practice is a cool one—mindful toothbrushing! You’ll be guided to bring more awareness into this habit that’s almost always pure autopilot.
The Dose of Inspiration is encouragement to find space and presence in many random little moments throughout your day.
Here we go!
Meditation: Bring more peace and ease into whatever you’ve got to do
Dose of Inspiration: The little moments are everything
You don’t need to be a zen master to feel peacefulness, ease, and grace. You don’t have to quit everything, move to a mountaintop, or spend thousands of dollars on an exclusive retreat.
You can be a regular, real-life human with things to do, places to go, and people to see.
It all comes down to the little moments.
While you’re brushing your teeth.
While walking up or down the stairs or into another room.
While putting on your shoes.
Buckling your seatbelt.
Washing your hands.
Picking up your fork.
Hugging your loved one.
Create space in those moments.
Even if it’s for literally one second—tune into your body and senses and click into presence.
If you have a few more seconds, take a deep breath and notice something you’re grateful for.
I invite you to infuse your days this week with many precious little mindful moments.
Let’s see what happens as they add up. 😌
Somatic practice: Mindful toothbrushing
I hope your week is full of mindful moments and savoring.
Cheers!
Marci 😄
